Hijra Property

Privacy policy

We keep this simple: we only ask for what we need to help you, we do not track you, and we never sell your details.

Who we are

This website belongs to Hijra Property. We help Muslim families who are considering hijrah or a home in a Muslim country with sourced information and introductions to checked, licensed partners. When this policy says "we", it means Hijra Property.

What we collect

Only what you fill in yourself.

The intake form: your name and email address, optionally your phone or WhatsApp number, the country you live in, your family situation, the countries you are considering, your plans, timeline, budget, work and schooling, your question, how you found us, and the language of the form. We also record that you agreed to this policy.

The free checklist form: your name and email address, the country you are looking at, your timeline and plan, and, only if you choose to share them, your budget and WhatsApp number. We also record that you gave permission.

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking. Videos from YouTube are only loaded when you press play; until then, nothing is loaded from YouTube or any other company.

Why we use it

To prepare a plan for your situation and to get back to you about it.

To email you the checklist you asked for.

To contact you about your plans, if you agreed to that.

We use your details on the basis of your request and your permission. You can withdraw your permission at any time; we will then stop contacting you.

Who handles it for us

We never sell your details. A few service providers handle them on our behalf:

Hosting: this website is hosted by The New Voicemail on Google Cloud servers in the Netherlands (EU).

Email delivery: Resend, an email service.

Our records: Airtable, where we keep your request so our team can work on it. Airtable stores data in the United States, under standard contractual clauses.

Partners: we only pass your details to a partner (for example a licensed broker or notary) after you have agreed to that for that specific partner.

If you press play on a video, YouTube (privacy-enhanced mode) applies its own terms to that video.

How long we keep it

No longer than we need it to help you, and at most two years after our last contact, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

Your rights

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the details we have about you, to stop contacting you, or to give you a copy. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.

Contact

For anything about your privacy, reply to any email you received from us, or use the intake form.
